Dr. Valerie Shaker

Dr. Valerie Shaker grew up in Warren Ohio. She graduated from Mercyhurst University in 2008 with a BS in Biology. She is a 2012 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at the The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, but has a special interest in feline medicine and surgery.  She  is a member of the American Association of feline practitioners and played and integral roll in getting VCH feline friendly gold certified. She is also a certified feline friendly veterinarian through the AAFP. Dr. Shaker and her husband Chris currently live in Hudson, Ohio with their two sons Alexander and Lincoln and their three pets, a black lab named Bodie, a tuxedo cat named Brinley and a Siamese cat named Biscotti. Dr. Shaker enjoys spending time with family, cooking, Target runs, and is a big fan of Cleveland sports.
